My name is Alexandra and I´m living in a small town in Sweden called Åmål, with my boyfriend Johan and all our animals. In the summer of -05 we bought our house and I (Alexandra) got the possibility to make my dream since childhood come true. In the winter of -06 I finelly apply for my kennel name Walk Of Life´s and in mars -07 the protest time went out. We had our first litter of puppies in summer of -07...a BIG litter of one puppy =) in -09 we got our second litter of six puppies.
How did the amazing Saint Bernard come in to our lifes?
In my family we have always had dogs with all from Shih Tzu, German shepherd and Golden Retriever to present Sankt Bernards. Our first Golden Retriever we got 1985 and after that the breed has always been in my life. It will ALWAYS have a speciell place in my heart.
For me a Saint Bernard always was a big drooly lazy lump =) that I never ever tought I´ll be the proud owner of. Untill I meet "Rune" (Bernhardlundens Four feet Runner) that is. I fell like a pine for that amazing dog. Said and done .....
July 2005 we went to Fredsduvans kennel and meet two wonderfull saints... Fredsduvans Naiomi and the imported French male Rubens De Saint Lienard…two amazing giants with their hearts on right place. In this litter there was eight puppies and Fredsduvans Sweet Sun- Shine moved home to us in July-05.
In Oktober -06 it was so time for Fredsduvans Wondergirl after Wlad to enter our home and heart. She is after the wonderful Estonian imported male Axberna Wlad and Ackebers Be my Star.
Today we got five saint bernards in our lifes. We also got the eleven years old Golden Retriever Maya and the two mix breeded siblings Dixie & Whille….. And we can`t forget the two lazy cats that enjoing life now in the spring sun. With all the best regards// Alexandra
